Presentation of the Public Workforce Performance and Prosperity Report

  • May 18, 2026
  • Rome, Italy | LUISS Campus

Presentation of the Public Workforce Performance and Prosperity Report

The World Bank’s Public Workforce Performance and Prosperity report brings new data and analytical tools to the study of public administration, focusing on how to make the world’s 400 million public sector workers more effective in carrying out core government functions and delivering better development outcomes. The report draws on the largest cross-national datasets on public sector employment, wages, and management practices in the world.

The World Bank Group Institute for Economic Development, in partnership with the Research Center for European Analytics and Policy at LUISS University, is pleased to invite you to attend a special presentation of the report. The event will explore the report’s key findings and discuss their implications for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners working to strengthen public sector performance in a context of rising demands and constrained resources.

Join us on May 18, 2026, at 14:30 CET at LUISS University Campus (Viale Romania 32) in Rome. Register to attend in person or online and be part of the conversation on how governments can transform their public workforce into engines of progress, trust, and resilience.
