How do firms grow, innovate, and drive economic development? The World Bank Group Institute for Economic Development, the Bank of Italy, the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (EIEF), are organizing a conference on Firm Dynamics, Investment and Aggregate Growth.

The conference will explore the forces shaping firm productivity and growth, including capital accumulation, technology adoption, innovation diffusion, industrial policy, and the growing role of AI in business performance. Bringing together cutting-edge empirical and theoretical research, the research conference will explore how firms contribute to long-term economic growth across advanced and developing economies.
