Manage Successful Field Research 2025

The Manage Successful Field Research workshop focused on all aspects of implementing development research in the field. Its program was designed to improve the skills and knowledge of research practitioners and partners, familiarizing them with best practices, critical issues in research implementation, recurring challenges, and cutting-edge technologies.

The workshop explored best practices for:

• Designing and managing data systems for field research
• Developing quality assurance strategies
• Monitoring implementation and providing real-time feedback
• Upholding research ethics, privacy, and reproducibility

Participants to this workshop engaged in lectures and panel discussions to learn best practices, common challenges, and emerging technologies. The also participated in case studies to analyze real-world scenarios with a diverse group of colleagues and gained proficiency in software for survey programming and statistical analysis with hands-on lab sessions.
