Firm Dynamics, Investment and Aggregate Growth

How do firms grow, innovate, and drive economic development? The Institute for Economic Development, the Bank of Italy, the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and the Einaudi Institute for Economics and Finance (EIEF), organized the conference Firm Dynamics, Investment and Aggregate Growth to explore the forces shaping firm productivity and growth, including capital accumulation, technology adoption, innovation diffusion, industrial policy, and the growing role of AI in business performance.
Through a series of presentations and keynotes, the event brought together cutting-edge empirical and theoretical research to analyze how firms contribute to long-term economic growth across advanced and developing economies.
